I think its about the boy. He loves the girl so much it hurts, yet she is never really there, she loved to play with him, draw him in but she would never give herself to him, only staying for a fleeting moment. The love the boy feels for the girl becomes a heavy burden as he is chasing somebody who keeps flying out of reach. These feelings become so heavy and broken that eventually the when the girl decides to become real and there for him, he cannot stand it, it was too hard now, so he left.
